Description

This program provides the skills and concepts required to safely plan and conduct search and recovery dives.

You will learn about search patterns, specialized dive plans, underwater communication, and how to recover small to medium-sized objects using specialized equipment like lift bags.

You will earn the SSI Search and Recovery Specialty certification after completing this program.

Academic Sessions: Online learning
Open Water Dives: 2
Maximum Training Depth: Varies with age
Daily schedule: Training starts at 9:00am and finish at 6:30pm with a 1 and half hours lunch break

During the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), our dive center is applying a specific Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) regarding COVID-19. The objective is to help to protect your safety and our staff. Thank you for complying with our rules during your stay and enjoy diving safely!
